For 2023, we had six ambassadors. For 2024, we will aim for four, two down island, two up island and make room for six if it works out that way.
For 2023 Lucy Smith, Ellen Pennock, Jonathan Walker, Steve Blacklock, Kristen Kit, and Mena Westhaver served as ambassadors. They contributed a number of videos, first-person accounts of their race experience and tips for training and race preparation. Their content attracted the second or third most amount of traffic behind the registration page and the results page. Hey, it is hard to be bigger than the results page.
