Charles Kuyper aka Hyper-kuyper!
Charles has been running on the island for the past 10 years. He is always smiling and enthusiastic during each run, proving his leadership and understanding of the course.
During his 41 years in the Navy, he was fully engaged in all CAF fitness activities as an Army Run Ambassador and a member of the Navy Run organization.
Currently, he is engaged as a Run Club organizer for the Running Room for the past two years.
He will be a full participant in all races as each one is so unique. He believes that each organization puts their best foot forward for each event, understanding the runner’s needs to complete a safe race.
Port Alberni, however, will always have a special place in my heart. Best chilli and beer combination ever!
